Achieve Hartford! is an independent organization that was established to monitor, support and be a catalyst for education reform and community involvement in the Hartford Public School District.
Farmington Avenue Alliance
This
renewed Avenue supports a high-quality mix of unique commercial,
cultural, professional, residential and academic activities; it is home
to some of the most important institutions in the Capitol Region.
Hartford 2000 The
mission of Hartford 2000 is "to strengthen the individual and
collective power of the NRZ’s and to serve as an advocate for
neighborhood issues".
Hartford Areas Rally Together (HART) HART’s
mission is to build relationships, act collectively, and bring about
lasting change in Hartford’s neighborhoods. HART currently works towards
its mission through our Community Organizing work, our Home Ownership
Made Easy (HOME) Program and the Walkers & Talkers for School
Readiness Program.
Hartford Preservation Alliance The
mission of the Hartford Preservation Alliance (HPA) is to preserve and
revitalize Hartford's unique architectural heritage and neighborhood
character.
Leadership Greater Hartford Leadership Greater Hartford Leadership Greater Hartford awakens and
develops the leadership potential of people, connects diverse leaders
around shared interests and inspires them to build strong and vibrant
communities throughout the region. Leadership Greater Hartford is one
Northside Institutions Neighborhood Alliance (NINA) NINA
offers grand Victorian homes on Hartford's Asylum Hill. Looking for an
affordable and spacious single or two-family home? NINA's historic
homes are fully restored, yet retain many unique architectural
features. All homes located within 10 blocks of Downtown.
Rebuilding Together Hartford Rebuilding
Together Hartford is a non-profit that provides home repairs,
accessibility modifications and energy enhancements at no cost for low
income Hartford homeowners.
Southside Institutions Neighborhood Alliance (SINA) A
coalition of five major Hartford institutions, including Hartford
Hospital, Institute of Living, Trinity College, CT Public Broadcasting,
and CT Children's Medical Center that work cooperatively with the
community to develop leadership and improve the economic, physical and
social characteristics of Hartford's Frog Hollow, Barry Square and South
Green.
